Weekend Highlights

This past weekend I went to TureWind. It is an event that is usually held at my old High School, Blue Mountain Academy. I really like going to the event cause its just one of those things that I can count on every year to make me really happy and feel connected to God. This year was my second year volunteering and helping out. Last year I helped with set up for green room but was not there for the weekend, but did photography instead. I had a blast and got a lot of exercise running all over stage and the gym.

This year I decided not to do much photography, besides the fact that I hurt my back they had a kick butt photo crew this year. I helped out with green room for the whole weekend this time and made sandwiches and heated up soup for out awesome guests. Like Joe Castillo the sand artist, Sky Solo and awesome indie christian group, resound and the speakers. The theme for this year was The Crew, in leadership. "Never do leadership alone."

One of the other big things that I LOVE about going to truewind is seeing all of my awesome friends that I don't get to see the rest of the school year since I go to Andrews, in Michigan. My best friend Carly was definitely on the top of my list, next to Danika, Mrs. Manente and Briana. By the end of saturday night I was exhausted I got home around 2 in the morning. But it was all worth it. In the end awesome weekend.
